MY BACKGROUND
For over ten years, I had an exciting career in Corporate Communications.
I travelled globally, worked for an FTSE100 tech company and ran communications on a multi-million-pound business transformation programme. I've led campaigns and have written internal announcements for senior leaders sent to thousands of employees.
After having kids, I set up as a freelancer. And it's a super fulfilling job. Because good marketing matters and can make a difference.

Why storytelling is important
During storytelling, our brains perform a kind of neural dance, with multiple regions lighting up.
We are more likely to take action and remember facts if they are woven into a tale. We experience a surge of oxytocin and while empathising with the narrator or characters, we feel connected to something bigger than ourselves.
It's all about striving to create content that leaves a lasting impression with the reader. Content that really connects with them. This is where the magic happens.
Research is a really important part of what I do. I conduct a thorough audience analysis and build a firm understanding of your competitor landscape with keyword research, ensuring that your content will be SEO-optimised.
